California-Style Wild Rice and Walnut Dressing

For your next holiday feast impress family and friends with this simple but elegant dish

Makes 6 cups: Serves 10-12 servings.


  • ½ cup each: chopped onions and chopped celery
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1½  Tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2  cups cooked brown rice (cooked in chicken broth)
  • 1  cup cooked California Wild Rice
  • ½  cup chopped walnuts
  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
  • ½  teaspoon sage
  • ¼  teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½  teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½  cup beef or chicken broth
Cooking Instructions:

In a small skillet over medium heat, cook onions, celery and garlic in butter until tender.

Combine with remaining ingredients in a buttered 2½ quart baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
