We are the Wild Rice Farmers of California working together to bring you this flavorful, nutritious and versatile food that was once known as “the good berry” to Native Americans.  We strive to bring you the highest quality product on earth while using sustainable farming practices that benefit the environment.

The California Wild Rice Advisory Board is a non-profit organization of California Wild Rice farmers formed in 1986 and operating under the authority of the Secretary of The State of California Department of Food & Agriculture.

The Board represents approximately 65 California farmers. The acreage assessments, paid by California Wild Rice Farmers, is used in activities including field research, nutritional research, as well as domestic and international promotion of Wild Rice. The board has its offices in Northern California’s fertile Sacramento Valley.
